In Quite Witness by Marina Richmond

Join us for First Friday on April 3rd from 5:30–8:30 p.m. for ‘In Quiet Witness’, a new exhibit of artwork by award-winning artist Marina Richmond. Richmond is a watercolor and ink artist whose work explores themes of silent observation and presence across figures, animals, and landscapes, often focusing on transitions between states: human and nature, life and death, inner and outer worlds, memory and the present. Through luminous color and subtle symbolism, she blends realism with narrative and magical realist elements.
Marina was this year’s first-place winner of DRV Gallery’s annual Art for a Cause, and her new exhibition examines the moments between different states—human and nature, life and death, memory and the present—encouraging a quiet exchange between the subject and the viewer.
This free community event will also feature live music from Jim Gilmour & Friends, along with wine and beer selections from Stella’s Divine Wine & Gourmet.
