“Spanish Needles formed as a four-piece during the pandemic in 2021. We were, as we are now, influenced by a broad range of punk, hardcore, and indie bands — from Superchunk and Jawbreaker…from Archers of Loaf and Dead to Me…from Hüsker Dü to Fucked Up. In that time we lost a member, but gained a member, and have gotten the opportunity to play shows with a wide variety of bands including Off With Their Heads, Busy Weather, Chimes (ex-Against Me!), Debt Neglector, and Bad Dog (ex-Fiya). We also have been fortunate to work with some incredible graphic artists within the punk community namely Horsebites (Richard Minino), Lauren Denitzio, Dead City Tokyo, and Wire Mark Design.”
