The Underground Book Fair at the Kerouac House – Sept. 12

Meet and shop with local authors, booksellers, vinyl and collectible pop-up shops, artists, organizations and more while hanging out in Jack Kerouac’s St. Petersburg home.

Authors will read from and discuss their works, and shops will talk about what they do. Drinks will be available for a donation.

Entry is a suggested donation of $5, which goes to the Kerouac House, a local nonprofit.

Vendor Spaces and Descriptions:

Remember, this is an atypical venue with atypical vendor spaces! No tents, and there is furniture in the small rooms, some (like beds) that can’t be moved.

Bring Your Own Table: Ideal for authors, artists, organizations, and small businesses. Bring an up to 6-foot-long table. Tables will be set up in the main dining area, back patio and outside (weather permitting). $10 + tax

Small Room (With Bed): Ideal for a full pop-up shop. Take over a small bedroom. There is a bed in the room, but plenty of space for up to 2 tables and creative displays. $25 + tax

Small Room (No Bed): Ideal for a full pop-up shop. There is NO bed in this room, though there is a small couch and other seating) and there is a lot of space for multiple tables and creative displays. $30 + tax

Small Dining Area: Ideal for a full pop-up shop. Located directly off the kitchen and serves as a walkway during the event. There is a table in this room, but you can still fit one large table and/or several small tables or creative displays. $20 + tax
