New evening shows will be presented in this unique\, 360-degree format.  \nNow playing in The Dalí Dome is the immersive show\, “Pink Floyd: The Dark Side of the Moon.” Over 50 years after the iconic album’s original release in 1973\, celebrate and experience it while encompassed in 360 degrees of sight\, sound and sensation. This experience offers—like Salvador Dalí’s art—a glimpse into creative worlds that are both remarkably insightful and fantastically unconventional.  \nThe immersive show is available on select nights. \nTickets: $20 for Museum members | $25 for non-members \nLocation: The Dalí Museum’s first floor and The Dalí Dome \nCafé Gala will be open with drinks + select menu items available for purchase. Guests are welcome to enjoy their beverage inside The Dome during the show. \n \nPlease arrive by your designated showtime.  \nTickets are typically available up to 30 days in advance. \nAll ticket sales are final—no exchanges or refunds.  \nRecommended for 8 years and up. Due to the environment\, parents should use discretion when bringing children to these shows. Viewer discretion is advised due to the explicit nature of some lyrics. Exhibit contains simulations\, such as flashing lights\, which may affect those susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy\, vertigo or other visual sensitivities and motion sickness.  \n\nPink Floyd\, renowned for their revolutionary impact on the music industry\, has embraced how the show artfully blends the album’s themes of everyday modern life with breathtaking views of the solar system and beyond. Played out to 42 minutes of The Dark Side of the Moon in surround sound\, each song has a different theme\, some futuristic and some a retro acknowledgment to Pink Floyd’s visual history\, all relating to a time and space experience\, making it the perfect backdrop to celestial visuals. DESCRIPTION:@ 			\n			\n							 \n\n\nPoetry at The Dalí is an ongoing series hosted by former poet laureate of St. Petersburg\, Helen Pruitt Wallace\, featuring select poets on the second Thursday of each month. \nYou can view past poetry performances on the Museum’s YouTube channel here. \nLocation: The Dalí Museum’s Will Raymund Theater or live on YouTube (link below) \nThis event is held on the ground floor of the Museum (gallery access not included). Access to the Museum’s ground floor is free and open to the public. \n\nTo watch the live stream from home\, click below at the time of the program: \n\nstream now\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHelen Pruitt Wallace has published individual poems in several journals and anthologies. Individual books include Shimming the Glass House\, and a chapbook\, Pink Streets. A former Poet Laureate of St. Petersburg\, she is the curator of The Dalí Poetry series.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAjibola Tolase is a Nigerian poet and essayist. He graduated from the creative writing MFA program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His chapbook\, Koola Lobitos\, was published as a part of the New Generation African Poets Series\, edited by Kwame Dawes and Chris Abani\, in 2021. His writing has appeared in LitHub\, New England Review\, Prairie Schooner\, Poetry and elsewhere. He is a former Wallace Stegner fellow at Stanford University and has received a creative writing grant from the Elizabeth George Foundation. He is the 2023-2024 Olive B. O’Connor Fellow in Poetry at Colgate University. He is the author of 2000 Blacks\, winner of the 2024 Cave Canem Poetry Prize. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSilvia Curbelo is the author of two full-length poetry collections\, Falling Landscape and The Secret History of Water\, both available from Anhinga Press\, and two chapbooks. Awards include poetry fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts\, the Florida Division of Cultural Affairs\, the Cintas Foundation and the Writer’s Voice\, as well as the Jessica Nobel Maxwell Poetry Prize from American Poetry Review. Her poems have been published widely in literary journals and more than three dozen anthologies\, including Helen Vendler’s Poems\, Poets\, Poetry (Beford/St Martin) and The Norton Anthology of Latino Literature (W.W. Norton). A native of Cuba\, Silvia has lived in Tampa all her adult life.
