As you know, June is our Month to Celebrate our PRIDE! 🏳️‍🌈✨

What is Pride?

Pride Month is celebrated every June as a tribute to those who were involved in the Stonewall Riots.

As a sub-holiday during Pride Month, Pride Day is celebrated on June 28.

The day marks the date in history when the first pride march was held in New York City in 1970.

However, different communities celebrate Pride Day on different days throughout June.

On a hot summer’s night in New York on June 28, 1969, police raided the Stonewall Inn, a gay club in Greenwich Village, which resulted in bar patrons, staff, and neighborhood residents rioting onto Christopher Street outside.

Pride Month is for everyone to Embrace who they are, no longer hiding Exuberance, to let the world know what you Love & in Fashion! 👑

Some definitions describe “Pride” as:

“a person or thing that arouses a feeling of deep pleasure or satisfaction.”

“confidence and self-respect as expressed by members of a group, typically one that has been socially marginalized, on the basis of their shared identity, culture, and experience.”

“consciousness of one’s own dignity.”

“the best state or condition of something; the prime.”

It also means wearing lots of Glitter!! ✨✨✨🪩
